After a while, counter tops can sometime get redundant.  While you can change the color or material, it’s hard to change the actual shape of the counter top.  Here’s a neat idea that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg…have the counter top be both a surface and a surround shell.  Counter tops can now continue down the sides and effectively house the bar stool that usually are very obvious.
